The site is located at the entrance to the countryside properties proposed re-development of the Harold Wood hospital site.
The design aim was to enhance the area in close proximity to the station and shops with a 3-4 storey development that offers a sense of place at the mid-point of the Gubbins Lane. The scale and form is carefully considered, breaking down to the building scale to the north and taking advantage of a south facing elevation with a scissor-like internal arrangement that affords each unit to have a double aspect.
